Older People Services

Karmand Community Centre provides a welcoming, varied and inclusive portfolio of services for the over 55’s. Encouraging healthy living, bringing people together and providing intensive support for those with greater need.
During the Covid-19 pandemic we took the difficult decision to close our face to face services and adapt what we do to support our community.
What is Doorstep help?
During the Covid-19 pandemic we are working together with other local organisations to offer as much support as we can to those in our community who are self isolating, shielding, or are unable to leave their house. Click for more info

Remote Befriending

Many of us might be feeling in need of a friendly chat right now. We can offer regular phone calls with befriending volunteers. If you or someone you know wants to sign up to the service please email us with name, the best way to contact you and the age of the person who would receive calls. Click for more info
